SupportLink
SupportLink is a joint initiative of the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, Rogers AT&T Wireless and Ericsson Canada. A client who is identified as being at “high risk” may be provided with wireless cell phones pre-programmed to call 911.
The program is designed to enhance the safety and mobility of individuals who are at risk of personal danger due to domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking crimes. Services are available to residents of the Niagara Region. All recipients actively work on other security/safety measures.

Domestic Violence Emergency Response System (DVERS)
Domestic Violence Emergency Response System is a joint initiative of Niagara Victim Crisis Support Service Inc, the Niagara Regional Police Service and ADT Canada. The program is designed to enhance the safety of individuals who are at a high risk of personal danger due to domestic violence, sexual assault and/or stalking crimes.
DVERS alarms are generously donated and monitored free of charge by ADT Security Services Canada Inc. The alarms are monitored 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Service is available to residents of the Niagara Region. All recipients actively work on other security/safety measures.

They offer a 24 hour crisis line, emergency services, individual and group counseling, accompaniment and advocacy through medical and legal proceedings.

Child and Adolescent Crisis Service (Niagara)
A mobile crisis intervention team serving children, adolescents under 18 years of age, and families in the Niagara Region. The crisis services include immediate telephone counseling and, if necessary, on-site crisis intervention in the home, school, hospital or other community location, family support, referrals to resources, advocacy community information, access to psychiatric consultation and crisis bed access.

Sexual Assault / Domestic Violence Treatment Program
A team of nurses and physicians are on call 24 hours, 7 days a week through emergency services so that victims of a domestic violence and sexual assault can receive specialized medical and emotional care. Many of the Centres also provide care to people who have been physically assaulted by their spouse or partner.
